Masa cuti raya cina baru ni, buatsetup my fish tank. It's an old tank actually, but new filter, some new gravel and a new plastic plank... Overall... a new tank without good bacteria... Beberapa hari lepas tu, baru isik ikan guppies. Tengoklah berjaya atau tidak kali ni. Tangki ni kecik, jadi susah nak jaga. Air cepat tercemar.

Bila dah start dengan hobi ni, mulalah jadi fanatik. But seriously, one can spend quite sometime just to watch the fish swimming. Very relaxing. Jadi Sabtu lepas pergi lagi kedai ikan tu, ended up bawa balik yet another 5 gallon glass tank for RM15. Set-up the tank with gravel, plastic plant, treated water etc. The tank was then ready for its occupant. Since I place it on the coffee table (no worries, the table cam support the weight on the tank), too far away from electrical outlets, I decided to get a Betta Splenden (ikan pelaga siamlah ni). The next day, I got myself Blue Joe....

This is him on the first day. Shy and was on-guard always. Maybe because he was placed in a big tank with many other bettas. The bettas in the tank kept flaring at each other, some with their fins nipped. But I did not see any serious fights among them.

Hari kedua, Blue Joe dah tak takut2. Nampak saja bayang2 tepi tangki, dia mesti datang, terkembang-kembang. Dia buat buih yang banyak jugak. Ini gambar semalam:

Joe dapat pokok baru. As soon as the plant was hooked to his tank, he slipped himself through the roots, looking very curious indeed.
